The immersive sound installation Speculative Futures is part of the group exhibition The Fable of Reason and Other Possible Realities, curated by Andrea Wain.
The exhibition will be open to the public from Wednesday to Sunday, 2–8 p.m., on the fourth floor.
On one hand, The Fable of Reason challenges, through visual art, the effects of supposed truths embedded in our minds, deconstructing those limitations that dissolve into contradictions and voids, with ambiguities and silences that transcend rationalist logic—transforming into possibility only through the poetic lens of art.
On the other hand, the notion of other possible realities encourages us to reconsider the rigid boundaries that separate us, the labels we place on ourselves, and the world around us. In this sense, the exhibition invites our imagination to surpass binary concepts and fuse them, allowing us to construct alternatives and reimagine new stories, spaces, characters, and worlds.
As part of “Speculative Futures” exhibition at Palacio Libertad (formerly CCK), we made a new Robotic Meditation session. This event brings together technology and nature, looking toward the future, set to the rhythm of Tibetan chants and live coding music.
This unique concept fuses technology with humanity, aiming to create an emotional impact through the robots featured in the installation.
The meditation was led by yoga master Javier Álvarez and lasted approximately 20 minutes.
More Robotic Meditations to come!
